Standard private purchase Air Defense helmet worn by civilians.  Helmet is marked 56cm and the decal is near 100% with little damage.  Interestingly the liner has been reversed by the wearer and this configuration is not a postwar alteration.  The helmet comes directly from the estate of the family who's veteran returned with this item after World war II.  No chinstrap as is common with these helmet as they typically broke off from general handling.  A fine starter helmet priced right.
