A very nice M1940 single decal Quist pattern Waffen-SS helmet that was acquired many years ago from a veteran's estate in the state of Oregon.  This helmet had been handed down into the family of the deceased veteran having been captured (or so the family recalled) at an SS Concentration Camp by an uncle.  The helmet is 100% original and has never been touched.  A fine age patina exists inside an out with typical age wear to the decal so common on the unique decals only used on factory produced Quist helmets.  The shell size is 66cm (large) and the chinstrap is the type with the field gray painted hardware.  this helmet is a combat veteran and clearly saw some action during World War II.
